OPERATION
Hydraulic fluid is pumped between the two cylinders through the overhead (or optional in-floor) stainless steel hydraulic lines. Patented hydraulic synchronization eliminates the need for restrictive height overhead covers, cables, pulleys, equalizer chains or obstructive floor plates.
To raise the carriages, Mohawk’s LMF-12/TP-16 use direct drive lifting rods which eliminate the wear & maintenance associated with lifts that use cables, chains, & overhead cable covers.
Mohawk carriages roll on eight double sealed, selflubricating, steel ball bearing rollers, for a lifetime of maintenance-free operation. Mohawk bearings are longer lasting, with less friction and wear than competitive lifts using plastic slide blocks that need constant greasing and maintenance.

Mohawk adjustable lifting forks are available in either 15” or 22” lengths for floatation tires or super-singles for safely lifting both rear tires. Forks adjust & lock for tire sizes from 48” down to 14” with wheels from 24” to 13” diameter.
Wheels
Mohawk lifts steer via large TWIN, 6 5/8” diameter, rubber coated steering wheels to easily roll over expansion seams & shop debris. Mohawk-the easiest columns to move. No steel or plastic wheels. Mohawk lifts easily roll on 6” rubber coated steel wheels (not plastic) which retract, to load the weight on the lift & shop floor (not the lifts wheels or axle).
DC Control Panel 24 volt control consoles show lifting height, battery voltage, cycles, capacity, annual OSHA required inspection dates plus many more features.
Deep Cycle Batteries
Twin 12 volt, deep cycle, maintenance free US made batteries. Each column equipped with a 10 amp, 110 volt battery charger for quickly recharging the batteries. One battery charge is good for 30+ cycles and will still leave the batteries at 75% power.

Jack Stands Mohawk Jack Stands are available in rubber coated flat pads or axle engaging lift pads. Mohawk's listed jack stands are available in 18,000 or 24,000 lb. capacities.

The high pressure, low volume lift that started it all, developed and installed in 1981.
Before environmental concerns were the hot topic Stenhoj saw the advantages of a continuous trench low oil volume design. Some companies claim they have been building high pressure lifts for many years, but no one has built a highpressure low volume self-contained lift longer than Stenhoj.
A single concrete vault to houses both front and rear pistons to assure that all service and repairs can be done from the top with out the need to dig. CONTROL SYSTEM

The computer’s alpha-numeric LCD display performs self test on startup, with information in plain english, with no flashing lights to be decoded.
